Today’s prompt is about forgiveness towards my Inner Child, my Inner Self. As instructed, I wrote a letter to my Inner Self and feelings began to stir up. As they came up, I named and described them within the letter.

I showed “unlovable” parts of myself compassion. I felt naked before my Inner Self because there was no need to pretend to be perfect or pleasing. I couldn’t ignore or take up a sword to fight because my demons shared a space with my Inner Self.

Without sword nor shield

I stand with my Inner Child
