Shake It Up with Invisible Touch

of Confusion

Today’s prompt over at Poetry 101 Rehab is all about the word “found.” Many of my teenage memories had the tunes of The Cars and Genesis playing on repeat. For this found poem I took the song list from Genesis’ “Invisible Touch” and The Cars “Shake It Up” and did a little mixing up of my own. Here was one of the possible combinations.

I love what you came up with. And your method is inspiring — now I am thinking, ‘I must try that!’

  2. OMG get real loose, you don’t need no bad excuse!
I have Cars songs running through my head at many times… especially in summer. This actually gave me the shivers because I woke up with the song Panorama in my head, and moments later stumbled across this. Weird!
