As the newly appointed President of the World, I declare this day as National Ball Pit Swimming Day! It is important to recognize the importance of ball pits because they helped shape history as we know it.

A couple of flashy factoids: The Pilgrims created the first ball pit in celebration of their first harvest in the new land. Also, the men who signed the Declaration of Independence had to swim the length of the local ball pit before they could officially sign the historic document.

It is for these reasons and millions more why we must preserve our ball pits. I personally guarantee the installation of a ball pit in every town and providence so no one will have to suffer the absence of this historical monument. By the end of this year, I promise that everyone will have direct access to a ball pit.

Have I ever steered you wrong?

Today Mindlovemisery Menagerie challenges us to weave a tale about the creation of a new holiday. Come join the fun 😀

  1. I’ve never been in a ball pit, but I’ve always wanted to! Now, in honour of your holiday, the next one I see, even if marked for children only, I’ll dive in. Could always pretend some child is mine.
    Great holiday! Love the idea.
    Thanks so much for participating!
