A Little Debussy with your Tanka?

Upon a chair then
Over a table, peace found
Sensations hoarded
Memory swells, task complete
Blank page soon inundated

This morning Heeding Haiku with HA brings Debussy into the haiku/tanka challenge. My tanka was inspired by moments spent on the roof of the garage, taking as much sensation as I can into my memory. Once full (or the bugs come out en masse) I transfer it all to the blank page.

Painting by Claude Monet 1873

    1. Oops: I see that the artist was Monet. What a coming together of impressionistic styles, music with painting with poetry!

      1. Most definitely. Been listening to a lot of classical while reading and writing lately. So calming
