silver strings play through lightning
in a tuneful duo with rolling thunder sound
the raindrops bounce and jiggle
pounding and bouncing
in a rocking band
petrichor ascends
from a thirsty ground
like music
penetrates into my soul
each sound of nature
breath, listen, live and love it
a sheer joy and morsel of life which nurture

Long ago
Named you Tabitha
No stroller, close to my heart
Sleeping next to you, I was in heaven too
Amazed at first words and Oreo cookie laughter
You’ve grown too fast, I can’t keep up; my child I am so proud of you
