After Seeing Cherry Blossoms for the First Time

Created to celebrate National Poetry Writing Month and link two poetry forms for today’s B&P’s Shardoma and Beyond. The first section is a shardoma which is followed by two Bakers Street. I wrote it after I visited the cherry blossoms in D.C. for the first time.
Come play with poetry with us at Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie!
It does have a “in the moment” experience like a haiku. I just love your header photo!!

Living in the moment of NOW is sometimes such a hard thing to remember to do….much less to capture. Great job here 🙂

I love how you’ve used the form to capture that sense of this being a fleeting moment — great job!
