“The Origin of Color”

Once upon a time in a land far, far away a green pine grew tall and strong. She had lived for a very long time and had seen many changes to the land. She loved the Mwoddles who lived in the Rainbow as they were very close to the land.

But the tree could remember a time when their world had been gray and lifeless. The tender people had trembled and hid deep inside her.

One cold nameless day, Tree saw brilliance flashing in the distance. She told them about the Mwoddles who hid in fear. The Strangers, Rain and Prism, agreed to help chase away the gray that had settled in the land like a unpleasant toad.

Rain walked the land with Prism by her side. In their wake, color flourished. Calling to her people, โ€œYou have nothing to fear, my friends. Come out and walk the land again.โ€ All lived without fear from that point on.
